Big Island resident Kalei Bridges was the winner of the Aloha Festivals' First Annual Clyde "Kindy" Sproat Storytelling and Falsetto Singing Contest. The win earned the skilled singer-musician the opportunity to record this fine collection of songs. Contest judge, Harry B. Soria, Jr., longtime host of the Territorial Airwaves radio show, says "Kalei Bridges revealed an effortless falsetto with impressive range. He displayed fine control and excellent timing." Information about each song, in addition to lyrics and translations for most, is included.
